ABA Therapy

What Is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach based on the science of learning and behavior.

ABA therapy can help children develop meaningful skills and address barriers that may interfere with learning, communication, independence, and participation in everyday life.

At ACESO, ABA therapy is individualized.

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) evaluates each child's individual needs and develops a treatment plan with measurable goals.

Areas of focus

Depending on the child's needs, therapy may focus on:

  • Communication
  • Social interaction
  • Play
  • Learning readiness
  • Following routines
  • Independence
  • Daily living skills
  • Emotional and behavioral regulation
  • Transition skills
  • Safety skills

Progress is continuously monitored, and treatment goals are adjusted as appropriate based on the child's development and clinical needs.
